1987 Custom Guimond Boats Miramaichi 40

An extremely unique offering has come to market, one of the crown jewels of Georgian Bay.  

A completely custom Downeast Trawler that took inspiration from boat manufacturers such as Sabre Yachts, MJM Yachts, Back Cove, and many others. This vessel was meticulously crafted using a 1987 Mariachi 40 solid fiberglass hull manufactured by Guimond Bros. in Baie Ste. Anne, NB. The construction was finalized in the spring of 2017, and the owner embarked on the remarkable Great Loop journey from September 2017 to August 2018, covering a distance of 6000 nautical miles. The vessel currently has 1330 hours, and 6885 logged nautical miles.  

The retrofitting process encompassed various upgrades, including the engine, drive, and genset. The wheelhouse was extended, and a forward stateroom was added, boasting a luxurious king-size pedestal bed. A spacious head and a separate shower were also incorporated into the design.   In the main salon, the helm occupies the port side, featuring a comfortable pedestal seat for the captain. Sliding doors were installed on both the port and starboard sides, allowing for easy access. The galley was expanded to provide ample space for culinary endeavors, and a large settee adorned with matching upholstery in exquisite ultra leather enhanced the overall elegance.

Every aspect of the vessel was renewed, from the bow to the stern, resulting in a blank hull transformed into a remarkable masterpiece that is truly one of a kind.
