An all-round great performer, the Grand Banks 36 Classic is capable of long-range cruising ready for your next adventure. With her heavy displacement and spacious interior few 36’ trawlers offer the comfort of the Grand Banks 36.

"TRILOGY" is a two-stateroom layout in the traditional Grand Banks 36 Classic style. Starting at the bow and moving aft, the forward cabin has a large "V" berth, hanging locker, drawers, and a private Head with a Shower.  Up a few steps to the Salon, the lower Helm is to starboard with navigation electronics. A door to the starboard leads to wide side decks with bulwarks, stainless steel stanchions, and varnished handrails. Full Galley is to port; aft of Galley is another side door leading to the port side decks. To starboard, aft of the Helm is a cabinet and L-shaped dinette with a fold-down teak table.  The aft cabin is down a few steps and has a starboard double berth, hanging locker, drawers, and plenty of storage. The Head is to starboard, with a Shower.  To port is a large closet with double doors. Aft of that is a single berth and additional storage.

 

Forward Stateroom

The forward Guest cabin V-berths have teak ceiling boards on the hull sides.  The hanging locker in this stateroom is to port with a hinged louvered door. The Head has a molded counter, manual Head and handheld Shower with teak grate and automatic drain pump. Going up four steps to the Salon, there is one drawer and bookshelves on the port side for additional storage.

Saloon

The Saloon is also the traditional layout with the Galley forward and to port followed by a port side door to the wide teak side decks.  Directly across is an L-settee against the aft and starboard bulkhead. The standard Grand Banks drop-leaf table is in front of the L-settee. A dry with storage in the bottom compartment, is forward of the settee. The lower Helm is forward and to starboard, with a starboard side deck access door. The Helm location as all the requisite engine controls and gauges; AC/DC control panels are located to lower starboard of the Helm.

Galley

The Galley is the straight line "up galley" on the forward port side of the main cabin. Beginning at the console, there is a dish locker with hinged cover. Next to it is the 3-burner propane stove, with oven below.  Beneath the oven is a storage drawer for pots and pans. Aft of the stove is the stainless steel sink. For storage, there are drawers, below counter hinged cupboard space and a pull-out counter extension for additional prep space. Further on is a stainless steel lined, insulated 12v DC refrigerator with signature Grand Banks teak door. Glass storage is located at the end of the counter, with a cabinet above for storing glassware and small dishes. The 10-gallon water heater, along with the pressure water system with accumulator, are located in the engine room.

Master Stateroom

The Master Stateroom is aft, with the very desirable double berth and desk combination. Plenty of storage is provided to port and starboard. The Head and Vanity are to starboard/forward and the Shower is in a separate compartment. There is convenient access to the aft deck via a companionway hatch and door.

Flybridge and Decks

The Flybridge is very spacious. The bench Helm and companion seats have matching white vinyl upholstery. A Bimini provides shade to the entire seating area. There are grab rails around the entire deck perimeter to enable crew to move safely around in rough seas. The windlass can be operated up/down at the bow or from the upper Helm station. Another nice feature is the Spring Line Cleat located port and starboard sides. On the starboard aft cabin top, there is space for dinghy chocks for a tender, which can be hoisted into position using the vessel's boom and mast. The swim platform features Weaver dinghy davits mounted to the Highfield dinghy.
